So I went to the forest to have one last talk with the God.
But His answer surprised me.
God said to me, "Look around, Do you see the fern and the bamboo?"
I replied, "Yes".
"When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took good care of them.
I gave them light. And I gave them water too.
The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor.
But nothing came out of the bamboo seed yet.
Even though I did not quit on the bamboo.
In the second year the Fern grew more plentiful and vibrant.
And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.
In the third year, there was still nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I still did not quit.
In the fourth year, again, there was nothing came from the bamboo seed and I did not quit.
In the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged on the earth from the bamboo seed.
Compared to the fern it was too insignificant and small.
But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall. It had taken five years growing the roots. Those roots gave what it needed to survive and made it strong.
I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle."
All this time we have been struggling, we have actually been growing roots."
So we should not compare ourselves to others.
"The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern ...
Yet, they both make the forest beautiful......."
When our time will comes, we will rise high! As high as Bamboo can!!!!
We should never regret even a single day in our life. Good days give us happiness. Bad days give us experiences. Both are essential to life.
A happy and meaningful life requires our continuous input and creativity.
It does not happen by chance. It happens because of our choices and actions.
And each day we are given new opportunities to choose and act and, in doing so, we create our own unique journey.
