This implies that, our body responds to our mental stimuli as same as it responds to the physical stimuli.
That means, when we visualize something in our mind, our brain believes the image as real as the image in the external world. This results enormous capacity to influence our physical body, based on our thinking in the mind.
“A man is but the product of his thoughts. What he thinks, he becomes.”

Scientific study on the mind
"Science begins from the Philosophy and ends of Art" - Will Durant
Scientists of the "University of Keele", United Kingdom, observed 835 women to test the effectiveness of the tablet "Aspirin" as given below:
Two types of aspirin tablets were used, one was labelled with a well-known brand name and the other one as "analgesic".
There were also two types of "placebo" tablets, labelled in the similar way – one with a well-known brand name and other as analgesic.’
The women were separated into four different groups, so that they would receive only one type of the tablet.
The final results amazingly shocked, that the branded aspirin tablets worked better than the unbranded ones, although it was the same drug!
The placebos which are branded, also reduced much pain compared to the unbranded ones, although they were the same placebos.”
"The doctors of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame.." - Thomas Alva Edison
The researchers have found that a "marital separation" delays "healing a wound" on the body and the "stress of caring" for an " Alzheimer’s patient" results the "care taker" more vulnerable to illness of the patient, some years later.
So many alternative natural medicines and healing techniques are effectively coming into the light like herbs, alkaline water, acupressure, homeopathy and organic, natural food, Pranic healing etc. Though they give results slowly, they remove the illness from the roots, as they act not only on the physical body but also on the mental level.
Hence at this point, science is unable to ignore the importance and the power of the mind.
"The main difficulty which prevents the men of science from believing in the divine and the nature spirits is their own materialism" - H. P. Blavatsky
Changing the bad habits is very essential, as our mind influences our actions and our body.
Mind is the crucial part in our wellness. We need to clean our mind daily though meditation and yoga, as same as we clean our body daily. Because the healthy mind leads to the healthy deeds.
"Your worst enemy cannot harm you as much as your own unguarded thoughts"
Because we recreate ourselves in a new experience of the positiveness by using our mind, which is the greatest asset of the human being.
Every individual is responsible for his or her well being. So we need to take charge of our own life, create a healthier reality and be with positive thoughts and visualizations that inspires us to be self contented.
"Cultivation to the mind is as necessary as food to the body" - Marcus Tullius Cicero
