The boy won many awards in his academics because of his dedication towards his studies. So that he used to get great respect from his friends and teachers.
One day one of his classmates asked him the reason for his handicap. Then the boy replied that he had been developing cerebral palsy since he was a baby.
Again his classmate asked the secret behind his confidence and happiness in spite of such mishap. Then the boy smiled and said that my heart and soul are never touched by the disease of my body.
We should just turn back and check about ourselves or our near ones complaining about small discomforts and portray it as a big problem. Many of us get down and cry over the simple discomforts.
We can find many people around us with rigorous disabilities. There are people who lost a limb or illness to the limb by birth. Many of them face challenges boldly and live their life fully, like our college student. They do not let their heart and soul affected by the physical body.

When he was 21 years old, he was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). As this disease advances, the motor nerves slow down its communication with body muscles. So gradually control over the muscle is lost. But it will not impact intelligence and memory even at the last stages.
Though his life was declared as short life span by the doctors, he surmounted it and lived many years.
He became the professor at the University of Cambridge in England and published the most popular books like A Brief History of Time, The Universe in Nutshell etc.
Finally he has proved that a physical disability cannot stop people from pursuing their passions in the life.
But because of the misfortune she met with an accident in the Tamil Nadu state of India at the age of 16 and lost her the functional ability of the right leg. Then due to the risk to her life, doctors removed her right leg.
What more toughest time will be for a dancer other than this. But she has overcome her disability with the help of a prosthetic 'Jaipur foot' and became one of the most highly acclaimed dancers of the world because of her rigorous efforts to dance with an artificial foot.
Today she has stood as a great inspiration to the many handicap people to achieve their goals without loosing hopes.
There are many old age people who suffer due to their ill health, but no one can stop them from getting inner peace by spreading the love to the others. In the case of being at home due to sickness, we can give love to our family who love and care for us a lot. So we can utilize our life to the best in any kind of situations if we are aware of our true self.
Everyone should be in an awareness that our true self is a soul or an energy. Just try to find your true self within you. Meditation helps us to explore ourselves and find our true self. Which in turn develops positiveness to lead a blissful life and let others live.
